Waste-Not came about in 2020 when the COVID-19 lockdown prevented my neighbour's and I from getting to the shops. I was also keen to reduce the amount of single use packaging that we get bombarded with, so I started buying bulk fruit and veg from CT markets and supplying my community and friends. I then started including pantry supplies such as rice, lentils etc. The ideal is to have a refill-type shop where people can buy products by weight, packaging free but until then, I buy in bulk from wholesalers in CT and repackage into recyclable and reusable containers.
